F# minor

About This Artwork

This painting explores the F# minor chord through chromesthetic translation, where musical harmony becomes visual color. Part of the Synesthetic Explorations collection, the work maps the chord's tones—F#, A, and C#—to their corresponding colors through the artist's synesthetic perception, creating a tangible representation of harmonic relationships.

The composition centers on warm yellow-orange tones that fill the upper areas, transitioning through orange sections that create substantial presence in the left portion. Bright aquamarine green appears in geometric forms, while blue and blue-green elements provide contrasting accents. The rectangular forms are organized around a large curved ochre shape that dominates the central area, with darker gray-green sections anchoring the composition's lower regions.

The work measures 21.0 × 21.0 cm and weighs 0.1 kg, executed in acrylic on paper. As part of the Synesthetic Explorations collection, it represents the eighth variation in the Research on Harmony series. The piece bears certificate number 20251123-0125 and is signed at the bottom right corner.
