About This Artwork
This work translates the F# minor triad into visual form through harmonic-chromatic mapping. Part of the Harmonic Crossing collection, the painting converts musical harmony into color relationships, where F#, A, and C# appear as green, yellow-orange, and blue-green tones respectively.
Dark yellow-green areas dominate the composition, flowing through geometric forms that fragment and overlap across the surface. Yellow tones occupy substantial regions, while blue-green accents provide harmonic contrast in smaller passages. The acrylic medium allows precise color boundaries while maintaining fluid transitions between adjacent areas, creating spatial depth through overlapping translucent passages.
The work measures 50 × 70 cm on linen canvas, signed bottom left with certificate of authenticity 20240718-0202.
