Arnaud Quercy is a Parisian artist working across painting, music, and sculpture. His practice is grounded in Ideamorphism — the principle that a work of art does not carry meaning, but triggers it. Each piece is engineered to diffract differently through each person who encounters it.

About This Artwork
This work explores the visual translation of the Bb minor triad through harmonic-chromatic mapping, part of the Harmonic Crossing collection. The composition transforms musical harmony into color relationships, where the fundamental tones Bb, Db, and F appear as corresponding visual elements across the painted surface.
Red tones dominate the composition, with coral and deeper crimson areas creating substantial presence throughout the work. A large curved gray form anchors the center, while geometric shapes in various red-orange hues organize the remaining space. Small accent areas of orange provide bright contrast against the predominantly warm palette, with the colors transitioning smoothly across defined geometric boundaries.
The work measures 30 × 40 cm and weighs minimal as an acrylic painting on wood panel. Certificate of authenticity number 20241201-0210 accompanies the piece. The composition represents the fifth variation in this harmonic research series, demonstrating how musical intervals can be systematically translated into visual color relationships through the artist's harmonic-chromatic methodology.
