A minor

About This Artwork

This work explores the A minor triad through chromesthetic mapping, translating musical harmony into visual form. Part of the Synesthetic Explorations collection, the piece investigates how chord structures appear when converted to color relationships. The composition examines the fundamental question of musical-visual correspondence through systematic color analysis.

Orange tones dominate the surface, with warm browns and sandy hues filling most areas. A bright yellow accent appears in the upper right, creating contrast against the earth-toned palette. The composition organizes geometric forms around circular and rectangular elements, with clean divisions separating color zones. Dark brown provides depth in the lower left section, while lighter orange variations create tonal movement across the square format.

The acrylic work measures 21 × 21 cm and weighs 0.1 kg, created on paper support. This piece represents variation 11 within the broader harmonic research series, connecting the A minor chord structure to specific color relationships through the artist's chromesthetic system. Certificate of authenticity number 20251123-0066 accompanies the work, with signature located bottom right.
