This work translates a piano étude in Ab minor into visual form through harmonic-chromatic mapping. Part of the Harmonic Crossing collection, it explores how musical harmony can be experienced through color relationships. The Ab minor triad becomes a study in tonal balance between warm and cool color families.

Gray tones dominate the composition, creating a neutral foundation that occupies more than half the visual space. Yellow-orange areas provide substantial presence through dark brown and very dark gray regions, while bright yellow forms appear as ochre, silver, and wheat tones. Small red-orange and red accents punctuate the arrangement, adding chromatic tension to the predominantly muted palette.
