The approach uses cycle of fifths mapping to create harmonic connections between visual and auditory elements.

Gray tones dominate the composition, appearing across multiple octave ranges from very dark charcoal through silver and steel gray. Yellow-orange goldenrod occupies substantial areas alongside bright yellow-green and wheat tones. A grayish purple provides contrast while small ochre and cadet blue accents add harmonic complexity. The acrylic paint creates clean color boundaries with geometric forms that organize the chord voicing across the paper surface.
