F Major

About This Artwork

This work explores the visual translation of the F Major triad through chromesthetic mapping, where musical pitches become color relationships. Part of the Synesthetic Explorations collection, the piece investigates how harmonic structures can be rendered as geometric color compositions, creating a bridge between auditory and visual perception.

The composition centers on warm orange tones that dominate the surface, with yellow-orange areas providing harmonic contrast. A vibrant orange-red occupies the largest portion of the composition, while ochre tones create substantial presence in specific zones. The geometric arrangement includes rectangular forms, a curved pink element, and areas of white that provide breathing space within the warm palette. Dark brown and burnt sienna sections anchor the composition, creating depth through tonal variation.

The work measures 21 × 21 cm and weighs 0.1 kg, executed in acrylic on paper. This compact format allows the color relationships to read clearly as a unified harmonic statement. The piece carries certificate number 20251123-0112, with the artist's signature located at bottom right. Created in November 2025, the work represents the artist's ongoing investigation into the visual properties of musical structures.
