Quercy translates the C# Major triad into visual form through chromesthetic mapping, where musical pitches correspond to specific colors. This work from the Synesthetic Explorations collection demonstrates how harmonic relationships can be expressed through color relationships, creating a direct bridge between auditory and visual perception.
Red tones dominate the composition, appearing throughout the surface in dusty mauve variations that represent the fundamental frequencies of the chord.
