This oil on paper work explores solitude as a meditative state rather than isolation, presenting interlocking abstract forms that suggest figures in quiet conversation with themselves and their surroundings. Part of the Mediterranean Echoes collection, the piece draws on the contemplative atmosphere of southern European light and color while maintaining a distinctly personal visual language.

Warm terracotta browns and deep rust tones anchor the left side of the composition, establishing a grounded presence against which lighter passages unfold. Soft pinks and dusty mauve fill the right portion of the work, creating a sense of openness and gentle warmth. Ochre yellows appear as bright accents—a golden wedge in the upper register, a small luminous rectangle at center-right—punctuating the otherwise muted palette.
