The piece investigates how harmonic relationships in music can manifest as spatial and chromatic relationships on paper.

Yellow-orange tones dominate the composition, appearing in warm wheat and tan hues that fill most of the surface. Orange accents create substantial presence through rosybrown areas, while blue-violet forms provide deep contrast in very dark gray sections. Light blue areas appear as pale gray washes, and a violet accent emerges as dusty mauve. The watercolor technique allows these colors to flow and blend naturally, creating soft transitions between the harmonic color zones.
