The Sound of the Grillons

About This Artwork

Three Flowers explores geometric abstraction through digital composition, part of the Mediterranean Echoes collection. The work investigates the relationship between organic forms and structured elements, creating a visual dialogue between curved and linear components. This digital piece demonstrates how contemporary technology can interpret traditional floral themes through modernist principles.

Red-orange tones dominate the composition, creating a warm foundation that spans nearly half the visual field. A large circular form occupies the central area, rendered in pale tones that provide contrast against the surrounding darker elements. Very dark gray areas appear throughout the left and right sections, while maroon and brown tones create depth and variation. A geometric grid pattern emerges in the lower left, composed of small square elements that introduce rhythmic repetition. Three linear elements extend vertically through the circular form, connecting the upper and lower regions of the composition.

The work measures as a digital creation within the miniature size classification, part of the Mediterranean Echoes collection. Certificate of authenticity number 20231231-0034 documents the piece's provenance. The composition demonstrates high color clustering and smooth transitions between tones, with strong analogous color relationships creating visual harmony. The piece sold in May 2024 to a private collector in France.
